Residential

Upton Grange provides 24-hour residential care in a safe, comfortable home for people who no longer feel able to live independently but do not require nursing care. Residents enjoy peace of mind knowing help is always on hand, while still being encouraged to make choices and maintain independence.

Our experienced Manager and compassionate, well-trained team support residents with day-to-day living, personal care, and appointments, always with dignity, privacy, and companionship. Residents are free to enjoy visits from family and friends and remain connected to their community, with safeguards in place to ensure safety and reassurance.

Life at Upton Grange is calm, secure, and welcoming. With thoughtful, personal care built on kindness, continuity, and trust, residents are supported to live well and feel genuinely at home every day.

Day Care

Day Care Our Day Care service is for people who continue to live independently in their own homes, and is a very popular choice.

Guests are supported by our friendly, experienced care team, who offer discreet help with personal care, medication, and dietary needs. Optional pampering services such as hairdressing, manicures, and chiropody can also be arranged.

Each visit includes nutritious home-cooked meals, homemade treats, and plenty of tea, all enjoyed in good company. With engaging activities, opportunities to make new friends, and regular outings, Day Care offers a meaningful, enjoyable day in a safe and supportive environment.

Respite Care

Respite care, sometimes known as replacement care, provides short-term support as a temporary alternative to a person’s usual care arrangements.

Although many people prefer to remain in familiar surroundings, respite care can be a positive option following a hospital stay, during recovery from illness or a fall, when a break is needed for the individual or their carer, or to experience what living in one of our Homes may be like longer term.

A change of routine can be beneficial for everyone, allowing individuals and carers time to rest and recharge, with the reassurance that care needs are being met in a safe and supportive environment. Benefits include a change of scene, social interaction, participation in activities and outings, and a well-earned break for carers.

Our respite care is designed to feel comfortable, reassuring and unhurried, offering peace of mind for everyone involved.
Throughout the time that our uncle was a resident at Upton Grange, the care and attention given to him could not have been surpassed. The Manager and staff were both caring and attentive to his every need and request.
